Puurgen attended All-Energy 2011 yesterday. The annual conference, now in its 11th year, was held at the AECC in Aberdeen. With over 500 exhibitors and presentations on all aspects of clean and renewable energy it demonstrated the strength of the Renewables industry.
Representatives and experts from the solar, wind, hydro and bioenergy industries were joined by oil and gas industry experts. The plenary consisted of talks from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), Sir Ian Wood of the Wood Group and Niall Stuart of Scottish Renewables among others.
“Attending All-Energy is vital in keeping abreast of developments in the Renewables market” said Stephen Charlick, Puurgen’s Operations Director “It is an extremely well-supported event that allows visitors to speak with industry leaders. The plenary talks were of particular interest to Puurgen as it reaffirmed the commitment of the DECC in supporting a low-carbon future.”
